Dr. Jamal Youssef Al-Hajji

Dr. Al-Hajji began his academic journey at Kuwait University, earning a Bachelor’s in Psychology, followed by two Master’s degrees in Psychological Counseling (University of Hull) and Educational Research (University of Manchester). He completed his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Birmingham. With over 15 years in the education sector, Dr. Al-Hajji served as a teacher, assistant principal, and school principal before joining the Department of Psychology at the College of Basic Education. For more than 20 years, he has helped shape future educators and contributed to the professional growth of teachers across disciplines. Beyond academia, Dr. Al-Hajji has served nearly two decades as a family dispute expert and judicial arbitrator in Kuwait’s family courts, promoting reconciliation and stability through insight and compassion. In the private sector, he founded and managed a specialized translation center, later becoming Board Chairman of logistics companies operating across Kuwait and the Arab region. He now leads a holding company focused on strategic management and youth investment, integrating his educational, social, and business expertise to foster knowledge, empower youth, and advance sustainable development.

Mr. Al-Sadder possesses over 42 years of experience in the financial, professional, and commercial sectors. His career began after earning a degree in accounting from the University of Manchester. He subsequently held a series of positions within the Kuwaiti banking sector over nearly two decades, starting as a Credit Manager and advancing to the position of Risk Manager, during which he served on various technical committees. He later transitioned into the global investment sector, working with an international firm that invests across multiple sectors, including real estate, banking, hospitality, marketing, and logistics. The company operated in the Gulf region, the Middle East, North Africa, and East Asia. Mr. Al- Sadder also played a key role in founding and establishing several major financial and economic entities. His expertise became focused on restructuring various corporates and organizations. In 2011, Mr. Al- Sadder entered the field of consultancy, offering financial, economic, and commercial advisory services to one of the largest economic groups in Kuwait and the Arab region. He successfully addressed the group’s comprehensive financial, economic, and professional needs across its operations in numerous Arab and international markets. He has also contributed to the boards of directors of several affiliated and listed companies across local, regional, and global markets, and served as a member of professional committees within the Union of Arab Banks. In 2023, he established Failaka Consultancy, utilizing his accumulated expertise to support the company’s diverse activities and to serve its clients with the highest professional standards.
